To improve a snow performance, a wet performance and processability.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a winter tire tread according to an embodiment contains 60-140 pts.mass of silica and 0.1-20 pts.mass of a cyclic alkoxide represented by a following general formula (1) based on 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing 10-40 pts.mass of natural rubber, 20-80 pts.mass of styrene-butadiene rubber, and 10-40 pts.mass of polybutadiene rubber. In the formula (1), M represents a divalent metal atom; and R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a hydroxy group-substituted alkyl group, an amino group-substituted alkyl group or a thiol group-substituted alkyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
