To enable a vehicle collision to a vulnerable road user to be predicted with high accuracy even when the vulnerable road user including a pedestrian/cyclist runs in front in a travel direction of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A collision prediction determination device 18 includes: external area sensors (a camera 21, a radar 23, and a rider 25) configured to acquire external area information related to obstacles existing in a first monitoring region including a front side in a travel direction of an own vehicle 15; proximity sensors (an external area sonar 27, a pressure tube sensor 29) configured to acquire proximity information including contact with obstacles existing in a second monitoring region close to the own vehicle 15; a clearance sensor (an internal area sonar 28) configured to acquire clearance information between front external members 5, 7 disposed on the own vehicle 15 and vehicle side structures (a bulk head 47, a bumper beam 49); and a collision prediction determination unit 63 configured to predict and determine a collision mode including presence/absence of a collision between a vulnerable road user and the own vehicle 15 based on the information from the external area by the external area sensors, the proximity information by the proximity sensors, and the clearance information by the clearance sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
