To provide a monitoring center and an elevator failure recovery assistance system that are able to perform an efficient recovery work.SOLUTION: A monitor center having communication means that communicates with an elevator and a maintenance worker's portable terminal comprises: a database that accumulates, regarding failures that occurred in the elevator in the past, causes of the failures, an investigation time required for each cause of the failures, and a countermeasure time required for each cause of the failures; retrieval means that, based on failure information of the elevator, received via the communication means, searches the database to extract a plurality of causes of failures as candidates; and calculation means that, by using occurrence frequency information, the investigation time and the countermeasure time, calculates a priority order for the causes of the failures extracted by the retrieval means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】効率的な復旧作業が行える監視センター及び昇降機故障復旧支援システムを提供する。【解決手段】昇降機及び保守員携帯端末と通信する通信手段を有する監視センターにおいて、過去に前記昇降機で発生した故障に関し、故障原因、前記故障原因毎に要した調査時間、及び、前記故障原因毎に要した対策時間、を蓄積するデータベースと、前記通信手段を介して受信した前記昇降機の故障情報に基づき、前記データベースを検索して候補となる複数の故障原因を抽出する検索手段と、前記検索手段で抽出された各故障原因に対し、発生頻度情報、前記調査時間及び前記対策時間を用いて、優先順位を算出する算出手段と、を備える。【選択図】図8
