To provide a position estimating system with which it is possible to detect the position of a worker in a building when the worker moves inside of the building.SOLUTION: Provided is a position estimating system including a plurality of transmitters installed in a building, a portable terminal equipped with a receiving circuit for receiving a wireless signal from the transmitters, an inertia sensor and a wireless communication circuit, and a data processing device equipped with a wireless communication circuit and a storage device. The position estimating system is constituted so that the portable terminal has a function to transmit address information from the transmitters, received radio wave strength information, detection information of the inertia sensor and the identification information of the terminal itself, the data processing device has a function to calculate, by computation, the position of the portable terminal referenced to a previously set starting point, on the basis of information from the portable terminal, and a function to determine whether or not there is an unregistered and active transmitter when address information is first received from one of the plurality of transmitters and store the position of the portable terminal carried by a preceding worker as the set position of the transmitter when there is an unregistered and active transmitter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】建物内を作業者が移動する場合にその位置を検出することができる位置推定システムを提供する。【解決手段】建造物に設置される複数の発信機と、発信機からの無線信号を受信する受信回路と慣性センサと無線通信回路とを備えた携帯端末と、無線通信回路および記憶装置を備えたデータ処理装置とを含む位置推定システムにおいて、携帯端末は発信機からのアドレス情報と受信電波強度情報と慣性センサの検出情報と自己の識別情報とを送信する機能を有し、データ処理装置は、携帯端末からの情報に基づいて予め設定された起点を基準とする当該携帯端末の位置を演算により算出する機能と、複数の発信機のいずれかから最初にアドレス情報を受信した時点で未登録でアクティブ状態の発信機があるか否か判定し未登録でアクティブ状態の発信機がある場合に先行作業者の保有する携帯端末の位置を当該発信機の設定位置として記憶する機能とを有するようにした。【選択図】図3
