To provide an expansion device configured such that the amount of contraction when a push-in force acts in a direction intersecting with an axial direction is larger than the amount of contraction when a push-in force acts in the axial direction.SOLUTION: An expansion device 10 includes: a case member 20 including a locking portion 31; a cylindrical member 40; an axis member 60; a swinging piece 51; a contacting portion 53 disposed at the swinging piece 51; a cam surface 69; and a spring 80. When a push-in force acts on the cylindrical member 40 in an axial direction against a biasing force of the spring 80, the contacting portion 53 is locked with the locking portion 31. When a push-in force acts on the axis member 60 in a direction intersecting with the axial direction, the contacting portion 53 is pressed by the cam surface 69 to swing the swinging piece 51, and the contacting portion 53 is moved to a position in which the contacting portion is not locked with the locking portion 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】軸方向の押込み力が作用したときの縮み量に対して、軸方向に交差する方向に押込み力が作用したときの縮み量が大きい、伸縮装置を提供する。【解決手段】この伸縮装置10は、係止部31を有するケース部材20と、筒状部材40と、軸部材60と、揺動片51と、揺動片51に設けた当接部53と、カム面69と、スプリング80とを有し、スプリング80の付勢力に抗して、筒状部材40に軸方向の押込み力が作用したときに、当接部53が係止部31に係止し、軸部材60に軸方向に交差する方向に押込み力が作用したときに、カム面69が当接部53を押圧して、揺動片51を揺動させ、当接部53を係止部31に係止しない位置に移動させる。【選択図】図1
