To provide a traveling sound control system which can generate a traveling sound at low-speed traveling without differently mounting a traveling sound generator thereto, and can impart an acceleration feeling and a high-speed traveling feeling generated by a sound.SOLUTION: In an electric vehicle having an ISG, quiet drive being a normal drive form and sound generation drive for driving a rotating electric machine by increasing an operation sound are performed as drive control forms of the ISG. A normal mode and a sports mode are arranged as operation modes of the ISG. When the normal mode is selected, the quiet drive is performed, and when the sports mode is selected, the sound generation drive is performed. Also, when a change of an accelerator opening is equal to a prescribed value or larger, the sound generation drive is performed, and when a traveling speed is equal to a prescribed value or lower, the sound generation drive is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】走行音発生装置を別途搭載することなく、低速走行時の走行音発生や、音による加速感・高速走行感の付与が可能な走行音制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】ISGを有する電動車両にて、ISGの駆動制御形態として、通常の駆動形態である静音駆動と、作動音を大きくさせて前記回転電機を駆動する音発生駆動とを設ける。ISGの動作モードとしてノーマルモードとスポーツモードを設ける。ノーマルモードが選択されている場合は静音駆動を実施し、スポーツモードが選択されている場合は音発生駆動を実施する。また、アクセル開度変化が所定値以上の場合は音発生駆動を実施し、走行速度が所定値以下の場合は音発生駆動を実施する。【選択図】図2
