To provide technique which is capable of executing automatic operation changing a vehicle to another lane or joining main lane adequately.SOLUTION: An operation auxiliary device comprises a first determination part 12 which determines whether or not automatic operation is capable of executing changing lane or joining lane of a vehicle from travel state of peripheral vehicles positioning around vehicle periphery, a second determination part 13 which determines whether or not psychological burden of passenger in the vehicle increases when executing the automatic operation and a control part 14 which controls execution of the automatic operation on the basis of the determination result of the first determination part 12 and the determination result of the second determination part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
