To provide a railroad crossing span wire which, even when it breaks, avoids an obstacle to traveling of a vehicle or a train in a state in which a rope hangs down.SOLUTION: A railroad crossing span wire comprises: an upper rope 12A and a lower rope 12B that are mutually and vertically separated a prescribed distance and span a space between upper parts of two electric poles 11A and 11B erected in right side and left side of a railroad crossing; and a sign-board 13 which is arranged in nearly central parts of the upper and lower ropes and, has an upper edge part coupled with the upper rope. The lower rope is suspended by suspension means 19A and 19B that have upper ends connected to the upper rope and have lower ends with pulleys 18A and 18B, into which the lower rope is horizontally inserted. One end of the lower rope is inserted into a support pulley installed on an upper part of one electric pole, extends downward, is wound in a manual winding device 15 mounted to the lower part and, to the contrary, drawback parts 14 are arranged at nearer positions to one electric pole than the central parts. On the lower lope, a bob 17 is arranged at a nearer position to the other electric pole than the central parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】切断されたとしてもロープが垂れ下がった状態になって車両や列車の走行に支障が出るのを回避することができる踏切スパン線を提供する。【解決手段】踏切入口の左右に立設された2本の電柱11A、11Bの上部間に上下に所定の間隔をおいて吊架された上側ロープ12Aおよび下側ロープ12Bと、上側ロープおよび下側ロープのほぼ中央に配設され上縁部が上側ロープに結合された標識板13とを備えた踏切スパン線において、下側ロープは、上端が上側ロープに係止され下端に下側ロープが水平方向に挿通される滑車18A、18Bを有する吊下手段19A、19Bによって吊下され、一方の端部は一方の電柱の上部に装着された支持滑車に挿通されて下方へ延設され下部に装着された手動式の巻取装置15に卷回されるとともに、中央よりも一方の電柱に近い部位に弱点箇所14が設けられ、下側ロープの他方の電柱に近い部位に重錘17が設けられている。【選択図】図1
