To provide a pendulum length setting device used for swing preventive control of a crane whererby the swing of a load can be suppressed by setting the length of a pendulum appropriately.SOLUTION: A pendulum length setting device used for swing preventive control of a crane includes rope length detection means for specifying a first distance Lf to a position Gf of a center of gravity of a suspending tool 5 from an unwinding position G0 of a rope 4 of a hoisting device 3 to be a fulcrum position of a pendulum, input means 8 for inputting a second distance Lw to a position Gw of a center of gravity of a suspended load 7 suspended through a slinging rope 6 from the position Gf of the center of gravity of the suspending tool 5, and display means 9 for visibly displaying a length Ls of the pendulum that is calculated by adding up the first distance Lf and the second distance Lw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
