To provide a measuring device of the pendulum length used for swing prevention control of a crane by which a load swing can be suppressed accurately by measuring the pendulum length appropriately with a simple facility configuration.SOLUTION: Information of a handling article 09 of a crane 01 is obtained as distance information by using a measurement region sensor 23 and the pendulum length used for the swing prevention control of the crane is calculated from a scanning angle and distance data of the measurement region sensor 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
