To provide a travel roller for a cableway rope grasping machine which can increase a fitting strength against a thrust load exerted on a shaft bearing.SOLUTION: A travel roller 21 is rotatably provided for a cableway rope grasping machine 20 and rolls on a travel rail in a station. The travel roller 21 comprises a roller body 24 formed from synthetic resin, a shaft bearing 25 inserted through the roller body 24 and snap rings 26 fixing the shaft bearing 25 and the roller body 24. The snap rings 26 are fitted in snap ring grooves 34 formed around an outer periphery of the shaft bearing 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
