The invention provides a cableway rope holding mechanism operation and inspection system which comprises a standing overhaul stand, the standing overhaul stand is in a U shape and is arranged on the outer side of a conveying track, the two ends of the standing overhaul stand are aligned with the two ends of the conveying track, one end of the conveying track is an inlet end, and the other end of the conveying track is an outlet end; a steel cable penetrates through the interior of the conveying track; the top end of the cable car body is assembled on the outer wall of the steel cable or inside the conveying track. A U-shaped walking track is arranged under the conveying track, and the two ends of the walking track extend out of the conveying track. A first operation and maintenance monitoring assembly is installed at the inlet end of the walking track, a second operation and maintenance monitoring assembly is fixedly arranged at the outlet end of the walking track, and a quick disassembly mechanism is assembled on the top of the second operation and maintenance monitoring assembly. Operation and maintenance personnel can know the work of the cable car and the conveying track by watching the monitoring display screen in the monitoring room, so that the operation and maintenance of the operation and maintenance personnel are simpler and more convenient, and the efficiency is higher; and the safety of the cable car main body entering the conveying track is ensured.
