To provide a communication terminal device with map information collectively managed and used in data transmission involving area designation so that a transmission-side communication terminal device can transmit data by designating an area where a reception-side communication terminal device is located by direct wireless communication method.SOLUTION: A server stores map information in which a communication identifier used to designate a communication destination of a communication terminal device by direct wireless communication method is associated with each management area regarding a plurality of management areas different from each other and constituting a target area where the communication terminal device can move, receives a map information request including positional information on the current position of the communication terminal device from the communication terminal device, and based on the map information request received from the communication terminal device, sends to the communication terminal device map information including a communication identifier corresponding to a management area including the current position of the communication terminal device, and communication identifiers corresponding to one or more management areas around the current position of the communication terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】送信側の通信端末装置が直接無線通信方式により受信側の通信端末装置が位置しているエリアを指定してデータを送信することができるように、そのエリア指定を伴うデータ送信に用いる地図情報を一括管理して通信端末装置に提供する。【解決手段】サーバは、通信端末装置が移動可能な対象エリアを構成する互いに異なる複数の管理エリアについて、通信端末装置の直接無線通信方式による通信宛先の指定に用いる通信識別子が管理エリアごとに対応付けられた地図情報を記憶し、通信端末装置の現在位置の位置情報を含む地図情報要求を通信端末装置から受信し、通信端末装置から受信した地図情報要求に基づいて、通信端末装置の現在位置を含む管理エリアに対応する通信識別子と通信端末装置の現在位置その周辺の一又は複数の管理エリアに対応する通信識別子とを含む地図情報を通信端末装置に送信する。【選択図】図1
