To provide an abnormality diagnostic device for improving reliability in a diagnostic result of a state of a detector to be mounted on a vehicle.SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnostic device 50 for diagnosing an abnormality of a radar sensor 20 as a detector to detect information in the periphery of a vehicle comprises: a GPS receiver 59 as a positioning device; a storage device 55 for storing map data 70 including data of objects existing on the ground; and a control section 51 for diagnosing presence/absence of an abnormality of a detector by comparison between map data 70 and detection data acquired by the detector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
