PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of efficiently identifying a battery abnormality before bringing a vehicle in which abnormality occurs on a battery thereof, into a dealer.SOLUTION: There is provided a battery abnormality diagnostic device for diagnosing abnormality of a battery provided on a charger for executing discharge and charge to the battery formed of plural battery cells which an electric vehicle comprises. The battery abnormality diagnostic device is configured to: acquire information related to an abnormality tendency of the battery detected based on a change tendency of voltage and voltage of each battery cell of the plural battery cells, being detected before start of diagnosis by the battery abnormality diagnostic device; and to select a charge/discharge pattern for abnormality diagnosis executed to the battery by the charger, from plural charge/discharge patterns according to the acquired information related to the abnormality tendency. Then, the charger is caused to execute charge/discharge according to the selected charge/discharge pattern and abnormality of the battery is identified based on voltage of each battery cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】バッテリに異常が生じた車両を販売店に持ち込む前に、効率的にバッテリ異常を特定することができる技術を提供する。【解決手段】電動車両が有する複数の電池セルからなるバッテリに対して充放電を実行する充電器に備えられたバッテリの異常を診断するバッテリ異常診断装置において、バッテリ異常診断装置による診断を開始する以前に検知された、複数の電池セルのそれぞれの電圧及び電圧の変化傾向に基づいて検知されたバッテリの異常傾向に関する情報を取得し、取得した異常傾向情報に応じて、充電器がバッテリに対して実行する異常診断用の充放電パターンを複数の充放電パターンから選択する。そして、選択された充放電パターンに従って充電器に充放電を実行させるとともに、各電池セルの電圧に基づいて、バッテリの異常を特定する。【選択図】図5
