To position a sliding member in a boom without welding a regulation member for positioning the sliding member to the boom.SOLUTION: A positioning structure of a connection slide plate body 30 comprises: the connection slide plate body 30 which is disposed in the inner surface 11a of the tip of a base end boom 11 (outer boom) constituting a telescopic boom 10; and tip plates 51, 52 which are fixed to the surface of a flange 11d of the base end boom 11. Engaging hole 39a are formed in the lower surface 30b of the tip plate body 30 facing the inner surface 11a, teeth 51a, 52a (projected shapes) are formed in the inner edges of the tip plates 51, 52 so as to fit in the engaging holes 39a, and the teeth 51a, 52a fit in the engaging holes 39a to position the connection slide plate body 30 at the prescribed position of the base end boom 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
