To provide a motor drive system which prevents the wheels from idling and sliding when switching a winding, in a vehicle having a winding switching device.SOLUTION: A motor drive system 1S includes: a motor 103 capable of switching a winding; a winding switching device 120 for switching wire connections of the winding of the motor 103; and a winding switching control part 110 for controlling the winding switching device 120. In addition, the motor drive system 1S includes: a torque command calculation part 109 for calculating a torque command according to an adhesive state between the wheels of an electric vehicle driven by the motor 103 and a rail; and a control device 105 for controlling output torque of the motor 103 on the basis of the torque command calculated by the torque command calculation part 109. The winding switching control part 110 switches the wire connections of the winding of the motor 103 in accordance with rotational speed of the motor 103 detected by a motor rotational speed detector 107.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】巻線切替装置を有する車両において、巻線を切り替えた時に車輪が空転や滑走することを防止するモータドライブシステムを提供する。【解決手段】モータドライブシステム1Sは、巻線切替可能なモータ103と、モータ103の巻線の結線を切り替える巻線切替装置120と、巻線切替装置120を制御する巻線切替制御部110を備える。また、モータドライブシステム1Sは、モータ103により駆動される電気車の車輪とレール間の粘着状態に応じたトルク指令を演算するトルク指令演算部109と、トルク指令演算部109によって演算されたトルク指令に基づきモータ103の出力トルクを制御する制御装置105を備える。巻線切替制御部110は、モータ回転速度検出器107で検出したモータ103の回転速度に基づきモータ103の巻線の結線を切り替える。【選択図】図1
