To provide a novel use technique of a fuel battery of a fuel battery vehicle.SOLUTION: In a fuel battery vehicle mounted with a fuel battery which grips an electrolyte film by catalyst layers at film both faces, and is formed by laminating fuel battery cells, air is supplied to the cathode-side catalyst layer while taking in atmospheric air by an air supply/discharge system, and the air is discharged to the outside from the fuel battery. Also, a hydrogen gas is supplied to the anode-side catalyst layer by a hydrogen gas supply/discharge system, and the hydrogen gas is discharged from the fuel battery. A control part for controlling the supply of air and the supply of the hydrogen gas supplies air to the cathode-side catalyst layer in which an iron ion is contained within a power generation stop period of the fuel battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】燃料電池車両における燃料電池の新たな活用手法を提供する。【解決手段】電解質膜を膜両面において触媒層で挟持した燃料電池セルを積層した燃料電池を搭載した燃料電池車両は、空気給排系により、外気を取り込んでカソード側の触媒層に空気を供給すると共に、燃料電池から外部へ空気を排出する。また、水素ガス給排系により、アノード側の触媒層に水素ガスを供給すると共に、燃料電池から水素ガスを排出する。空気の供給と水素ガスの供給とを制御する制御部は、燃料電池の発電停止期間において、鉄イオンが含まれたカソード側の触媒層への空気の供給を実行する。【選択図】図3
