To provide a shock absorption structure capable of reducing a load generated at a step part.SOLUTION: A fiber structure 21 of a shock absorption structure 20 comprises a plurality of warp layers 28 having a warp yarn 28a extending in a load direction Z, and a weft layer 27 having a weft yarn 27a orthogonal to the warp yarn 28a, further comprises an interlayer binding yarn 26 bonding the plurality of weft yarn layers 27 and warp yarn layers 28 in a lamination direction X, and is formed into a cylindrical shape. The fiber structure 21 comprises a step part 25 in which the thickness in the lamination direction X closer to a base end part 24 is thicker than that closer to a tip end part 23. The fiber structure 21 comprises a fragile part 29 in a part of the step part 25 including first to third intersecting parts K1 to K3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
