To provide a vehicular electric discharge mechanism that enables an electric charge of a capacitor to be appropriately discharged in the event of collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicular electric discharge mechanism 60 is provided that is mounted in a vehicle comprising an electric circuit 100 including a capacitor 37 storing and smoothening electric power supplied from a power source device 35. The electric circuit includes first power line 40 connecting the cathode of the power source device and the cathode of the capacitor to each other and a second power line 50 connecting the anode of the power source device and the anode of the capacitor to each other. The vehicular electric discharge mechanism comprises a cut-off member 63 that cuts off the first power line and the second power line in the event of collision of the vehicle. The cutting member has a resistance unit 63d connecting the capacity side of the first power line and the capacitor side of the second power line to each other while the first power line and the second power line are kept cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
