To achieve prolongation of mileage of a vehicle by improvement of fuel efficiency and the like, and an increase in the degree of freedom of undercarriage design of the vehicle, while reducing costs and the number of components.SOLUTION: A power transmission control apparatus according to the present invention is a power transmission control apparatus for a vehicle having a wheel, a drive shaft for transmitting power from a driving source to the wheel, and a wheel brake mechanism. The power transmission control apparatus comprises an intermittent mechanism that makes power transmission to the wheel from the drive shaft freely intermittent, and an intermission switching mechanism that switches intermission of the power transmission by the intermittent mechanism, on the basis of brake pressure for actuating the brake mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
