To provide a vehicle control device, which suppresses gear-change shock caused by racing of rotation speed of an input rotation member when the transmission is switched into a power-off state during down shift of a stepped transmission in a power-on state.SOLUTION: When a stepped transmission part 20 is switched into a power-off state during down shift of the part 20 in a power-on state, deterioration suppression control by which deterioration in transmission torque Tcb is suppressed more than deterioration in transmission torque Tcb of a release-side engagement gear according to deterioration in base torque Tib in inertia phase is performed, which can suppress shortage of the transmission torque Tcb of the release-side engagement gear with respect to AT input torque Ti at the time when MG2 rotation speed Nm is synchronized, so as to suppress racing of the MG2 rotation speed Nm. This can suppress gear-change shock caused by the racing of the MG2 rotation speed Nm when the part is switched into the power-off state during down shift of the stepped transmission part 20 in the power-on state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7

    【課題】有段変速機のパワーオン状態でのダウン変速中にパワーオフ状態に切り替わった場合の入力回転部材の回転速度の吹き上がりによる変速ショックを抑制する。【解決手段】有段変速部20のパワーオンダウンシフト中にパワーオフ状態に切り替わった場合には、イナーシャ相中におけるベーストルクTibの低下に応じた解放側係合装置の伝達トルクTcbの低下よりも伝達トルクTcbの低下を抑制する低下抑制制御が行われるので、MG2回転速度Nmが同期する際のAT入力トルクTiに対する解放側係合装置の伝達トルクTcbの不足が抑制されて、MG2回転速度Nmの吹き上がりが抑制される。よって、有段変速部20のパワーオンダウンシフト中にパワーオフ状態に切り替わった場合のMG2回転速度Nmの吹き上がりによる変速ショックを抑制することができる。【選択図】図7
