To provide a wheel weight estimation method in which a high frequency component can be appropriately estimated.SOLUTION: A wheel weight measurement device measures the wheel weight p by using the outputs of strain gauges 131A to 138B attached to a wheel 110. An acceleration sensor 51 is attached to an axle box 50 which supports a wheel shaft 100 provided with the wheel. The rigidity of a raceway is estimated on the basis of wheel weight data measured by the wheel weight measurement device and a component having a frequency lower than a predetermined frequency famong the axle-box acceleration measurement data measured by the acceleration sensor. Estimated in the wheel weight estimation method is a wheel weight which includes a component having a frequency higher than a predetermined frequency on the basis of on the estimated rigidity of the raceway and the axle-box acceleration measurement data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】高周波成分を適切に推定可能な輪重推定方法を提供する。【解決手段】輪重推定方法を、車輪110に取り付けたひずみゲージ131A〜138Bの出力を用いて車輪の輪重pを測定する輪重測定装置によって測定された輪重測定データと、車輪が設けられた輪軸100を支持する軸箱50に取り付けられた加速度センサ51によって測定された軸箱加速度測定データのうち所定の周波数fpよりも低周波数の成分とに基づいて軌道の剛性を推定し、推定された軌道の剛性と、軸箱加速度測定データとに基づいて所定の周波数よりも高周波の成分を含む輪重を推定する構成とする。【選択図】図4
