To perform speed reduction control capable of improving fuel efficiency in consideration of an arrival delay allowable time when stopping a vehicle which travels in an automatic driving mode at a stop position.SOLUTION: An automatic driving vehicle capable of traveling in an automatic driving mode comprises: an acquisition part which acquires information on a stop position where the vehicle is to stop; and a control part which performs speed reduction control over the vehicle traveling toward the stop position. The control part performs first speed reduction control or second speed reduction control according to a comparison between a time difference between a first time and a second time and a previously set arrival delay allowable time, wherein the first time is a time up to when the vehicle reaches the stop position under the first speed reduction control in which a brake is controlled after a cruise travel in a travel control state in the automatic driving mode, and the second time is a time up to when the vehicle reaches the stop position under the second speed reduction control by brake speed reduction accompanied by fuel cutting after slow speed reduction by coasting instead of the cruise travel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】自動運転で走行する車両を停車位置に停車させる際に、到着遅れ許容時間を考慮して燃費向上が可能な減速制御を行うこと。【解決手段】自動運転により走行可能な自動運転車両は、自車両が停車する停車位置の情報を取得する取得部と、停車位置へ向けて自車両の減速制御を行う制御部と、を備える。制御部は、自動運転による走行制御状態でクルーズ走行をしたのちブレーキを制御した第1の減速制御により停車位置に到達するまでの第1の時間とクルーズ走行の代わりにコースティングによる緩減速をしたのち燃料カットを伴うブレーキ減速による第2の減速制御により停車位置に到達するまでの第2の時間との差分時間と、予め設定した到着遅れ許容時間と、の比較に基づいて、第1の減速制御または第2の減速制御を行う。【選択図】図4
