The invention provides a vehicle control method. The method comprises the following steps: determining a subsequent driving road of a vehicle; acquiring a signal state of an adjacent traffic signal lamp located at the upstream of a confluence point on an adjacent road confluent with the follow-up driving road in the same direction based on the follow-up driving road; and controlling the driving operation of the vehicle based on the signal state of the adjacent traffic signal lamp. According to the vehicle control method provided by the invention, the signal state of the adjacent traffic signal lamp located at the upstream of the confluence point on the adjacent road confluent with the subsequent driving road in the same direction is obtained; and the driving operation of the vehicle is controlled based on the signal state of the adjacent traffic signal lamp and according to the current road on which the vehicle runs and the traffic condition on the adjacent road, so that the automatic driving operation can deal with the confluent road condition more efficiently and safely. The invention further provides a corresponding computer program product, a vehicle automatic driving system and a corresponding vehicle with the vehicle automatic driving system.
