To relax an output limit of a motor more than conventional techniques.SOLUTION: A motor control device comprises: a control unit which generates a driving command to a motor; a temperature sensor which detects a winding temperature of the motor; a relative dielectric constant calculation unit which calculates a relative dielectric constant of an insulation material of the motor; a partial discharge starting voltage calculation unit which calculates a partial discharge starting voltage on the basis of the temperature and the relative dielectric constant; and a partial discharge generation determination unit which compares an applied voltage to the motor and the partial discharge starting voltage, and determines that a partial discharge will occur when the partial discharge starting voltage is a value lower than the applied voltage. When it is determined that a partial discharge will occur, the control unit generates either one of a command for declining the applied voltage and a command for declining an output of the motor as the driving command, and controls the motor. When it is determined that a partial discharge will not occur, the control unit generates a command for maintaining the applied voltage as the driving command and controls the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】モータの出力制限を従来よりも緩和する。【解決手段】モータへの駆動指令を生成する制御部と、モータの巻線温度を検出する温度センサと、モータの絶縁材料の比誘電率を算出する比誘電率演算部と、温度と比誘電率とに基づいて部分放電開始電圧を算出する部分放電開始電圧演算部と、モータへの印加電圧と部分放電開始電圧とを比較し、部分放電開始電圧が印加電圧よりも低い値である場合には、部分放電が発生すると判定する部分放電発生判定部と、を備え、制御部は、部分放電が発生すると判定された場合には、印加電圧を下げる指令、およびモータの出力を下げる指令の少なくともいずれか一方の指令を駆動指令として生成し、モータを制御し、部分放電が発生しないと判定された場合には、印加電圧を維持する指令を駆動指令として生成し、モータを制御する。【選択図】図1
