To provide a wheel device for a carriage capable of smoothly traveling in the optional direction by reducing abrasion in turnaround time.SOLUTION: A wheel device comprises a pair of driving wheels 2 and 3, differential means 4 arranged between the pair of driving wheels 2 and 3 and a traveling motor 5 for supplying driving force to the pair of driving wheels 2 and 3, and an output shaft for transmitting the driving force of the traveling motor 5 to the differential means 4 is connected in its axial direction to the differential means 4 orthogonally to the axle direction S of the driving wheels 2 and 3, so that when turned around in a stopping state, since the driving wheels 2 and 3 draw a circular orbit around the center of a chassis, damaging of a ground surface by the driving wheels 2 and 3 can be prevented. A height of the chassis can also be restrained low due to becoming arrangeable by restraining a height of the traveling motor 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】方向転換時の摩耗を軽減させ、任意の方向に円滑に走行させることができる台車用車輪装置を提供する。【解決手段】一対の駆動用車輪2、3と、一対の駆動用車輪2、3の間に配置された差動手段4と、一対の駆動用車輪2、3に駆動力を供給する走行用モータ5とを備え、走行用モータ5の駆動力を差動手段4に伝達する出力軸は、その軸方向を駆動用車輪2、3の車軸方向Sと直交して差動手段4に連結されたことにより、停止状態で方向転換したときに駆動用車輪2、3が車台の中央を中心として円軌道を描くので、駆動用車輪2、3が接地面を傷つけることを防ぐことができる。また、走行用モータ5の高さを抑えて配置することが可能となり、車台の高さを低く抑えることができる。【選択図】図1
