To secure an operator's safety while easily carrying out tensioning work in using an auxiliary apparatus for tensioning work of a hanging load wire rope in a crane.SOLUTION: An auxiliary apparatus for tensioning work of a hanging load wire rope 3 in a clamp crane 1 comprises: a front foothold 300 detachably supported by a support member 50 for the front foothold disposed on a top boom 160 among multistaged telescopic booms 100; and side footholds 200 detachably supported by a support member 30 for the side footholds disposed to the sides of a front part of the base boom 110 among the telescopic booms 100. The front foothold 300 and the side footholds 200 are separated from each other while being closer to each other to a transferable extent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
