When a passing vehicle detection sensor 22B provided at the other end of the alternate traffic section detects exit of the vehicle V1 and subtracts one from the number of vehicles in the section (S12a), the number of vehicles in the section becomes "0", so that a traffic light 25B can be switched from an entry forbiddance state to an entry permit state (S13). Further, when the vehicle V1 goes out to a connecting road, a passing vehicle detection sensor 22C detects it and subtracts one from the number of vehicles in the section (S12b) and, when the vehicle V1 goes out from the alternate traffic section by entering a store, a guide terminal device 30 is operated, and the number of vehicles in the section is subtracted by one (S12c). Compared with a case where the vehicle goes out from the other end of the alternate traffic section, this configuration can subtract the number of vehicles in the section at an early stage and further quickly switch the signal light 25B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】交互通行区間において円滑で効率的な交通誘導を行うこと。【解決手段】交互通行区間の一端に設けられた通過車両検知センサ22Aは、車両V1の進入を検知し、区間内車両数を1加算する(S11)。交互通行区間の他端に設けられた通過車両検知センサ22Bが車両V1の退出を検知し、区間内車両数を1減算すると(S12a)、区間内車両数が「0」となって信号機25Bを進入禁止状態から進入許可状態に切替可能となる(S13)。また、車両V1が接続道路に出た場合には通過車両検知センサ22Cが検知して区間内車両数を1減算し(S12b)、車両V1が店舗に入ることで交互通行区間から出たならば誘導員端末装置30が操作されて区間内車両数を1減算する(S12c)。このため、交互通行区間の他端から出る場合に比べ、早期に区間内車両数の減算が発生し、信号機25Bの切替えをより早く行うことができる。【選択図】図1
