To provide a novel automobile brake system which can suitably control a braking state of a front wheel and a rear wheel with a good efficiency by a standby power source at the time of power supply system failure.SOLUTION: A standby power source 36, which is used when a main power source 35 cannot supply a required electric power to motor-driven components of a front wheel side brake mechanism 4 and a rear wheel side brake mechanism 5, is provided, and thus, when a required electric power cannot be supplied from the main power source 35, electric power is not supplied to an electric part element of the front wheel side brake mechanism 4 from the standby power source 36, but supplied to an electric part element of the rear wheel side brake mechanism 5 by power changeover adjustment means 37. According to this, a novel brake system, which can suitably control a braking state of a front wheel and a rear wheel with a good efficiency by a standby power source at the time of power supply system failure, can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】電源系失陥時に前輪と後輪の制動状態を予備電源によって適切に効率良く制御することができる新規な自動車のブレーキシステムを提供することにある。【解決手段】主電源35が前輪側制動機構4及び後輪側制動機構5の電動部品要素へ必要電力を供給できないとき使用される予備電源36を設け、主電源35から必要電力を供給できない時に、電力切換調整手段37によって、予備電源36から前輪側制動機構4の電器部品要素には電力を供給せず、後輪側制動機構5の電動部品要素に電力を供給するようにした。これによれば、電源系失陥時に前輪と後輪の制動状態を予備電源によって適切に効率良く制御することができる新規なブレーキシステムを得ることができる。【選択図】図4
