To reduce a sense of discomfort felt by an occupant in a vehicle during vehicle travel control for automatic parking.SOLUTION: An automatic parking control device executes: vehicle travel control for controlling driving force and braking force to automatically move a vehicle to a target position; braking force increase processing for increasing the braking force when, during the vehicle travel control, the idling revolution speed of an engine is increased, and the driving force is increased; and braking force reduction processing for reducing the braking force when, during the vehicle travel control, the idling revolution speed is reduced, and the driving force is reduced. When executing the braking force increase processing at a first position far from the target position, the automatic parking control device delays the timing of increasing the braking force, as compared to when executing the braking force increase processing at a second position near the target position. When executing the braking force reduction processing at the first position, the automatic parking control device advances the timing of reducing the braking force, as compared to when executing the braking force reduction processing at the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】自動駐車のための車両走行制御の最中に車両の乗員が感じる違和感を軽減する。【解決手段】自動駐車制御装置は、駆動力及び制動力を制御して車両を自動的に目標位置に移動させる車両走行制御と、車両走行制御の最中にエンジンのアイドリング回転数が増加して駆動力が増加する場合、制動力を増加させる制動力増加処理と、車両走行制御の最中にアイドリング回転数が減少して駆動力が減少する場合、制動力を減少させる制動力減少処理と、を行う。目標位置から遠い第1位置で制動力増加処理を行う場合、目標位置に近い第2位置で制動力増加処理を行う場合と比較して、制動力増加タイミングをより遅くする。第1位置で制動力減少処理を行う場合、第2位置で制動力減少処理を行う場合と比較して、制動力減少タイミングをより早くする。【選択図】図2
