To reduce a difference between an actual amount of change in vehicle height and the target value for an amount of change in vehicle height determined by vehicle height control, which results from overshoot caused by a suspension bush that has become hard due to a low temperature.SOLUTION: In this vehicle height control system, a value smaller than an actual target amount of change, which is a target value for an amount of change in vehicle height, which is determined by vehicle height control, is used as a target amount of change for control. When an actual amount of change, which is an actual amount of change in vehicle height in the vehicle height control, approaches the target amount of change for control, a vehicle height control valve is closed. In addition, the target amount of change for control is determined based on the temperature of outdoor air. After the actual amount of change approaches the target amount of change for control and the vehicle height control valve is closed, overshoot may occur.     【課題】低温時にサスペンションのブッシュが硬くなることによって生じるオーバーシュートに起因する実際の車高の変化量と車高制御で決まる車高変化量の目標値との差を小さくすることである。【解決手段】本車高制御システムにおいては、車高制御で決まる車高変化量の目標値である真の目標変化量より小さい値が制御用目標変化量とされ、その車高制御における実際の車高の変化量である実変化量が制御用目標変化量に近づいた場合に車高制御弁が閉とされる。また、制御用目標変化量は、外気の温度に基づいて決定される。実変化量が制御用目標変化量に近づき、車高制御弁が閉とされた後に、オーバーシュートが生じるが、このオーバーシュートが生じた後の、実車高変化量と真の目標変化量との差を小さくすることができる。【選択図】図8
