PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion device for a railway vehicle which suppresses the decrease of cooling performance of a cooling part caused by suppressed the decrease of velocity of travel wind passing through the space between fins.SOLUTION: In this electric power conversion device 20 (an electric power conversion device for a railway vehicle), each neighbouring fin 41 is arranged to be more separated from each other as the fin extends from its root part (Y1 side) connected to a heat receiving plate 40 to its top part (Y2 side), and the fin is arranged so as to expand toward both one side (Z1 side) and the other side (Z2 side) in a lineup direction (Z axis direction) as the fin extends from the root part to the top part in a projection direction (Y axis direction).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】フィン間を通過する走行風の流速の低下を抑制に起因する冷却部の冷却性能の低下を抑制することが可能な鉄道車両用電力変換装置を提供する。【解決手段】この電力変換装置20(鉄道車両用電力変換装置)では、互いに隣り合うフィン41同士が、受熱板40に接続された根元部(Y1側)から先端部(Y2側)まで、互いに離間するように配置され、かつ、突出方向(Y軸方向)において、根元部から先端部に向かうにしたがって、整列方向(Z軸方向)における一方側(Z1側)および他方側(Z2側)の両方に拡がるように配置されている。【選択図】図2
