PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision detection device capable of improving collision detection precision.SOLUTION: A collision detection sensor 20 is provided on a front side of a bumper reinforcement 18 in such a manner as to extend in car width direction between a front bumper 11 of a vehicle 10 and the bumper reinforcement 18, so that an output changes when an outside surface is pressurized. A pressurizing auxiliary part 30 is attached to a rear surface of the front bumper 11 in such a manner as to extend in the car width direction between the front bumper 11 and the collision detection sensor 20. The pressurizing auxiliary part 30 includes a base part 31 extending along the rear surface of the front bumper 11, and a plurality of protruding parts 38 that have such a shape as to protrude from the base part 31 toward the front side of the collision detection sensor 20 and are provided at the base part 31 with a space in the car width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】衝突検出精度の向上を図ることのできる車両用衝突検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】衝突検出センサ20は、車両10のフロントバンパ11とバンパリインフォースメント18との間で車幅方向に延びるように同バンパリインフォースメント18の前面に設けられて、外面が押圧されることによって出力が変化する。押圧補助部30は、フロントバンパ11と衝突検出センサ20との間で車幅方向に延びるように同フロントバンパ11の後面に取り付けられている。押圧補助部30は、フロントバンパ11の後面に沿って延びるベース部31と、ベース部31から衝突検出センサ20の前面に向けて突出する形状で同ベース部31に車幅方向に間隔を置いて設けられた複数の凸部38とを有する。【選択図】図3
