To provide a vehicular braking device with a simple configuration capable of maintaining desired braking force even when switching from a hydraulic pressure brake to an electric parking brake when stopping on a slope.SOLUTION: A vehicular braking device includes: a hydraulic pressure braking section which independently controls hydraulic pressure in each of front wheels and rear wheels of a vehicle and can generate hydraulic pressure braking force; a pressing lever which presses a braking shoe movable relatively to a drum provided in each of the rear wheels of the vehicle to the drum side; and an electric actuator which drives the pressing lever. The vehicular braking device further includes: a gradient detection section which detects gradient of a road surface; and a control section which performs control to reduce hydraulic pressure corresponding to the front wheels in the hydraulic pressure braking section during parking of the vehicle up to prescribed pressure corresponding to the gradient of the road surface and performs control to drive the pressing lever by the electric actuator after the completion of the pressure reduction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】坂路停車時に液圧ブレーキから電動駐車ブレーキに切り替える場合でも、所望の制動力を維持することができる簡素な構成の車両用制動装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態による車両用制動装置は、車両用制動装置は、車両の前輪および後輪のそれぞれに独立して液圧を制御し液圧制動力を発生可能な液圧制動部と、車両の後輪に設けられたドラムに対して相対的に移動可能な制動シューをドラム側に押圧する押圧レバーと、押圧レバーを駆動する電動アクチュエータと、を有する車両用制動装置であって、路面の勾配を検出する勾配検出部と、車両の駐車時に液圧制動部における前輪に対応する液圧を路面の勾配に対応する所定圧まで減圧させる制御を行い、前記減圧の完了後に前記電動アクチュエータにより前記押圧レバーを駆動する制御を行う制御部と、を備える。【選択図】図4
