PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress interference of blades by a subsequent wiper operation when receiving a speed switching instruction during HI operation in an opposite wiping type wiper device.SOLUTION: When an operation mode of a blade is switched from HI to LO during an outward path wiping operation of wiper blades 1a and 1b, an inversion operation is performed in an LO operation mode from upper inversion positions UHa and UHb. In the inversion operation, a timing of operation start of the blade 1a on a subsequent side delays the blade 1b on a preceding side so as to largely secure a distance between blades after inversion. After the operation start of the blade 1b on the preceding side, the blade 1a on the subsequent side is made to wait at the upper inversion position UHa until an angular difference between the blade 1b and the blade 1a becomes a predetermined value, and the operation of the blade 1a on the subsequent side is started when the angular difference between both of the blades 1a and 1b becomes a predetermined value or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】対向払拭型ワイパ装置にて、HI作動中に速度切替指示があった場合、その後のワイパ動作においてブレード同士が干渉するのを抑制する。【解決手段】ワイパブレード1a,1bの往路払拭動作中に、ブレードの作動モードがHI→LOに切り替えられた場合、上反転位置UHa,UHbからLO作動モードにて反転動作を行う。この反転動作において、反転後のブレード間距離を大きく確保すべく、後続側のブレード1aの動作開始のタイミングを、先行側のブレード1bよりも遅らせる。先行側のブレード1bの動作開始後、ブレード1bとブレード1aの角度差が所定値となるまで、後続側のブレード1aを上反転位置UHaにて待機させ、両ブレード1a,1bの角度差が所定値以上となったとき、後続側ブレード1aの作動を開始させる。【選択図】図1
