PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence caused by a variation of the formation of a curvature radius of a back face or the like of a rack bar while expanding a contact region contacting with the rack bar.SOLUTION: As a slide face 33 of a rack guide sheet 32, two contact positions TA, TB which are linearly symmetric with respect to a linear line O3 for connecting a center O of a rack bar 20 and a bottom center C of the slide face 33 at a YZ-cross section vertical to an axial line direction of the rack bar 20 are set as contact positions contacting with a back face 22 of the rack bar 20, and there is used a recessed face 330 including a pair of first circular faces 331A, 331B which are arranged at a peripheral edge side 320 of the slide face 33 from the contact positions TA, TB, and linear to the linear line O3, and a pair of second circular faces 332A, 332B which are arranged at a bottom side 321 of the slide face 33 from the contact positions TA, TB, and linearly symmetric with respect to the linear line O3. Then, the first circular faces 331A, 331B are set larger than the second circular faces 332A, 332B with respect to a gap with the back face 22 of the rack bar 20 at a position separated from the contact positions TA, TB by the same distances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】ラックバーとの接触領域を広くしつつ、ラックバーの背面等の曲率半径の製作ばらつきによる影響を小さくする。【解決手段】ラックガイドシート32の摺動面33として、ラックバー20の軸心方向に垂直なYZ断面において、ラックバー20の中心Oと摺動面33の底部中央Cを結ぶ直線O3に対して線対称な2つの接触位置TA、TBをラックバー20の背面22との接触位置とし、接触位置TA、TBから摺動面33の周縁側320に配され、直線O3に対して線対称な一対の第一円弧面331A、331Bと、接触位置TA、TBから摺動面33の底部側321に配され、直線O3に対して線対称な一対の第二円弧面332A、332Bと、を含む凹面330を用いた。そして、接触位置TA、TBから同距離だけ離れた位置におけるラックバー20の背面22とのギャップについて、第一円弧面331A、331Bを第二円弧面332A、332bより大きくした。【選択図】図3
