PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a load in a circuit of an on-vehicle electrical component or the like by suppressing surge noise generated from an electromagnetic coil during off of a battery relay.SOLUTION: A circuit for suppressing surge noise of a battery circuit is provided which comprises a normally open battery relay 4 turned ON by being energized to an electromagnetic coil 5 via a signal line 6 during ON of a battery switch 7 and which suppresses surge noise generated from the electromagnetic coil 5 of the battery relay 4 during OFF of the battery switch 7. A normally open sub-relay 9 is interposed in the downstream side close to the electromagnetic coil 5 in the signal line 6 connected to the electromagnetic coil 5 of the battery relay 4. The signal line 11 for energizing the electromagnetic coil 10 of the sub-relay 9 is provided with the battery switch 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
