PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of crushed-pipe type trailing arm parts, and to improve a torsion characteristic.SOLUTION: A torsion beam type suspension structure for a vehicle comprises a pair of trailing arm parts which are arranged while being apart from each other to a vehicle width direction, and a torsion beam part which extends to the vehicle width direction, and is connected to a pair of the trailing arm parts. The torsion beam part includes a center part and an end part in the vehicle width direction, and the center part is constituted of a pipe having a closed cross section structure which is crushed so as to be formed into a U-shape at a cross section in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction, and in the vehicle width direction, a wall thickness of the pipe at the center part is thinner than a wall thickness of the end part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
