PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction reduction device of a ship which improves friction resistance reduction effect while making simplification of the structure.SOLUTION: A friction reduction device of a ship comprises: a gas chamber 41 arranged inside of a ship hull; a bottom plate 27 which is a partition between inside of the gas chamber 41 and outside of the ship hull; a plurality of air outlet ports 42 arranged on the bottom plate 27; a compressor; an auxiliary air supply pipeline 46 by which the compressor communicates with the gas chamber 41 in which passage area of the auxiliary air supply pipeline communicated with the gas chamber 41 is smaller than aperture area of the air outlet port 42; a case 64 which covers and zones the air outlet port 42 in the gas chamber 41; and a plurality of penetration holes 67 which are arranged at prescribed places of the case 64 in which the penetration holes do not face a connection part 46a of the auxiliary air supply pipeline 46 to the gas chamber 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】船舶の摩擦低減装置において、構造の簡素化を図ると共に摩擦抵抗低減効果の向上を図る。【解決手段】船体の内部に設けられる気体室41と、気体室41内と船体の外方とを仕切る船底外板27と、船底外板27に設けられる複数の空気吹き出し口42と、圧縮機と、圧縮機と気体室41とを接続して気体室41へ連通する通路面積が空気吹き出し口42の開口面積より小さい面積に設定される副空気供給配管路46と、気体室41内で空気吹き出し口42を被覆して区画する容器64と、副空気供給配管46の気体室41への接続部46aに対向しない容器64の所定位置に設けられる複数の貫通孔67とを設ける。【選択図】図4
