PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a friction resistance reduction device of an air lubrication type ship which can obtain a sufficient energy-saving effect and COdischarge amount reduction effect by securing a required air flow rate while suppressing an increase in the number of components; and a ship.SOLUTION: A friction resistance reduction device 20E of an air lubrication type ship 10 for reducing a friction resistance generated between a hull 11 and environmental water by ejecting air around the hull 11 comprises: an ejector body 31 which has a flow channel 31r through which high pressure air AH supplied from a high pressure air supply source 14 flows, and introduces low pressure air AL having a pressure lower than that of the high pressure air AH into the flow channel 31r; and an air bubble jetting part 21 which jets the high pressure air AH and the low pressure air AL discharged from the ejector body 31 thereby generating air bubbles around the hull 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
