PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad crossing control system and a railway control system which can detect approach and passage of a train and intrusion of an obstacle without causing a great cost increase, and have high lightning resistance and high resistance against electromagnetic noise.SOLUTION: A railroad crossing control system includes an optical cable 11 laid along a railway track 12, light detection means 21 which detects scattered light in a light source that is connected to the optical cable and emits a laser beam to the optical cable, and in the optical cable, frequency analysis means 22 which frequency-analyzes an optical signal detected by a photodetector, and control means 23 which detects a train position based on a signal from the frequency analysis means and controls the railroad crossing equipment, where the optical cable is disposed at a train passage point intended to start an operation of the railroad crossing equipment in the railway track and a train passage point intended to end the operation of the railroad crossing equipment so that any section determined related to resolving power of an optical device cross the track.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】大幅なコストアップを招くことなく、列車の接近、通過や障害物の侵入を検出することができるとともに、耐雷強度および電磁ノイズに対する耐性の高い踏切制御システム並びに鉄道制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】鉄道の軌道12に沿って敷設された光ケーブル11と、光ケーブルに接続され、該光ケーブルに対してレーザ光を出射する光源および光ケーブル内の散乱光を検出する光検出手段21と、光検出手段が検出した光信号を周波数解析する周波数解析手段22と、周波数解析手段からの信号に基づいて列車位置を検出し踏切設備を制御する制御手段23とを備えた踏切制御システムにおいて、光ケーブルを、鉄道軌道において踏切設備の作動を開始させたい列車通過地点および踏切設備の作動を終了させたい列車通過地点で、光学装置の分解能に関連して決まるいずれかの区分が軌道を横切るように配設した。【選択図】図2
