PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a wheel position with fewer limits on mounting position without requiring additional equipment, such as a trigger, and a bi-axial G sensor and without complicating a specification for communication.SOLUTION: A sensor transmitter 2 itself calculates an inclination angle θfor mounting a G sensor 22 with respect to wheels 5a to 5d and, on the basis of a calculated secondary function and calculated primary function and an actual secondary function and actual primary function, estimates that for which one of the right wheels 5a, 5c and the left wheels 5b, 5d, the sensor transmitter is mounted. On the basis of the estimation result and an effective tire radius, a receiver 3 specifies that for which one of the front wheels 5a, 5b and the rear wheels 5c, 5d each sensor transmitter 2 is mounted. Thus, it is possible to specify that for which one of the wheels 5a to 5d each sensor transmitter 2 is mounted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】トリガ機などの追加の設備や2軸のGセンサを必要とせず、搭載位置の制約も少なく、通信仕様の複雑化を招かなくても、的確に車輪位置検出を行うことができるようにする。【解決手段】センサ送信機2自身で、車輪5a〜5dに対するGセンサ22の取り付けの傾斜角度θsetを演算し、計算2次関数と計算1次関数および実測2次関数と実測1次関数に基づいて、右車輪5a、5cと左車輪5b、5dのいずれに取り付けられたものであるかを推定する。そして、その推定結果および実効タイヤ半径に基づいて、受信機3側で各センサ送信機2が両前輪5a、5bと両後輪5c、5dのいずれに取り付けられたものであるかを特定する。これにより、センサ送信機2が車輪5a〜5dのいずれに取り付けられたものであるかを特定することが可能となる。【選択図】図1
