PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable low-velocity running detection that can suppress an increase in power consumption while making it possible for a transmitter to transmit information related to a tire pneumatic pressure at a low vehicle velocity.SOLUTION: An acceleration measuring cycle F is set to a long vale while a vehicle is stopped, and the measuring cycle F is set to a short value in response to an assumed vehicle velocity if the vehicle is highly likely running. It is thereby possible to optimize the measuring cycle F in response to the vehicle velocity, that is, a rotating speed of a tire and to accurately detect a variation of ±1 G accompanying the rotation of the tire. It is, therefore, possible to prevent fault detection of vehicle stop by detecting vehicle running while suppressing computational complexity at a low vehicle velocity and shortening the measuring cycle at a high vehicle velocity, and to provide a tire pneumatic pressure detector capable of detecting low-velocity running while suppressing an increase in power consumption.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】低速時からタイヤ空気圧に関する情報を送信機より送信できるようにしつつ、消費電力の増加を抑えた低速走行検出を可能とする。【解決手段】車両が停車中の際には加速度の計測周期Fを長い値に設定し、車両が走行中の可能性が高くなると、想定される車速に応じて計測周期Fを短い値に設定する。これにより、計測周期Fを車速、換言すればタイヤの回転速度に応じて最適化することが可能になり、タイヤ回転に伴う?1Gの変動を的確に検知することが可能になる。これにしたがって、低速時は計算量を抑えて走行検出し、高速時は計測周期を短くすることで停車の誤検知を防ぐことが可能となり、消費電力の増加を抑えた低速走行検出を行うタイヤ空気圧検出装置とすることが可能になる。【選択図】図1
