PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure that is able to prevent occurrence of rust between a protective tube and an inner shaft.SOLUTION: A hollow cylindrical boot 19 is provided so as to span across a space between an axial intermediate part of an inner shaft 7 and one axial end of an outer tube 6. A protective tube 14 is covered with this boot 19. A mounting cylindrical part 21 provided at one axial end of the boot 19 is fitted into and supported by the axial intermediate part of the inner shaft 7 so as to be allowed to relatively displace toward the one axial end, whereas a mounting cylindrical part 21b provided at the other axial end of the boot 19 is fixed to the one axial end of the outer tube 6 so as to be not allowed to relatively displace in the axial direction. In addition, a deformation initial point 22 serving as an initial point in bending and deforming of this boot 19 is provided on an axial part of the boot 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】保護チューブとインナシャフトとの間に錆が発生するのを防止できる構造を実現する。【解決手段】インナシャフト7の軸方向中間部とアウタチューブ6の軸方向一端部との間に、中空筒状のブーツ19を架け渡す様に設ける。そして、このブーツ19により、保護チューブ14を覆う。ブーツ19の軸方向一端部に設けた取付筒部21aを、インナシャフト7の軸方向中間部に対し、軸方向一端側への相対変位を可能に外嵌支持すると共に、ブーツ19の軸方向他端部に設けた取付筒部21bを、アウタチューブ6の軸方向一端部に対して、軸方向に関する相対変位を不能に固定する。又、ブーツ19の軸方向一部に、このブーツ19が曲げ変形する際の起点となる変形起点部22を設ける。【選択図】図1
