PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device, a vehicle control method, and a vehicle control program which can adjust an inter-vehicular distance by further truly reflecting a driver's intention.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a reception part that receives an operation by an occupant of a vehicle; a detector that detects an object around the vehicle; and a controller that commands at least one of a running drive force output part and a braking force output part to stop the vehicle when an object located in front of the vehicle is detected by the detector. When a first predetermined operation is received by the reception part in a state where the vehicle is stopped, the controller allows the vehicle to move forward so that an inter-vehicular distance between the vehicle and the object located in front of the vehicle is shortened. When a second predetermined operation is received by the reception part in a state where the vehicle is stopped, the controller allows the vehicle to move forward so that an inter-vehicular distance between the vehicle and the object located in front of the vehicle is further shortened compared to the case where the first predetermined operation is received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】運転者の意思をより忠実に反映させて車間距離を調整することができる車両制御装置、車両制御方法、および車両制御プログラムを提供することを目的の一つとする。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、車両の乗員による操作を受け付ける受付部と、車両の周辺の物体を検出する検出部と、検出部によって車両の前方に位置する物体が検出された場合に、走行駆動力出力部または制動力出力部の少なくとも一方に指示して車両を停止させる制御部と、を備え、制御部は、車両を停止させた状態で、受付部によって第1の所定操作が受け付けられた場合に、車両と車両の前方に位置する物体との車間距離を短くするように車両を前進させ、受付部によって第2の所定操作が受け付けられた場合に、車間距離を、第1の所定操作が受け付けられた場合に比してさらに短くするように車両を前進させる。【選択図】図1
