PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling an engine stop position that can prevent an increase in power consumption of a battery for stopping an engine.SOLUTION: A device for controlling an engine stop position includes: executing an operation for stopping an engine (step S2); and, when an engine rotation speed of the engine decreases to a prescribed range (step S3), controlling ISG to generate brake torque for reducing the engine rotation speed of the engine (step S5) based on a condition that a rotation angle of a crank shaft becomes a prescribed angle (step S4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
