PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safe suction sliding wherein, the suction force of a suction device is stably maintained when encountering a wall w having great unevenness while the sealing performance of the suction device is maintained by using a structure devised to allow a suction device having high sealing performance.SOLUTION: A suction device comprises: a chamber 2 having an opening 3 on one face; a travelling mechanism 6 installed inside the chamber 2 in a manner allowing 360 degrees of rotation in relation to a wall w via a rotation mechanism 5; an air displacement pump 4 for creating negative pressure within the chamber 2; and a skirt 15 for sealing formed from a plurality of segments 14 installed on the periphery 12 of the chamber 2 and arranged individually in the wall w direction in a freely retractable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
