PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a contact area of a living body.SOLUTION: The coating of surfaces of a first electrode 1 and a second electrode 2 by an insulating material 3 constitutes an electrode part D. A high frequency power source 4 is connected to the first electrode part 1 via an induction element 11 for constituting a resonance circuit for the first electrode part 1, while an ampere meter 5 is connected to the second electrode 2. A correlation between the resonance frequency and the resonance resistance value is acquired at the time when a current state showing the resonance is detected by the ampere meter 5 by sweeping the frequency from the high frequency power source 4. A contact area of a living body M is determined based on the value relating to the resonance frequency in the range (range of δ1 to δ2 of figure 2 ) in which the resonance resistance value and the resonance frequency are reduced or increased together among the acquired correlations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】生体の接触面積を検出できるようにする。【解決手段】第1電極1と第2電極2との表面を絶縁材3に被覆することにより電極部Dが構成される。第1電極部1に対して共振回路を構成するための誘導素子11を介して高周波電源4が接続される一方、第2電極2に対して電流計5が接続される。高周波電源4からの周波数をスイープさせて電流計5で共振を示す電流状態が検出されたときの共振周波数と共振抵抗値との相関関係が取得される。取得された相関関係のうち、共振抵抗値と共振周波数とが共に減少または共に増大する範囲(図2のδ1〜δ2の範囲)において、共振周波数に関連する値に基づいて生体Mの接触面積が決定される。【選択図】 図2
