PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect abrasion occurring on an inner peripheral surface of a bush of an electromagnetic brake.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an electromagnetic brake abrasion detection device which detects abrasion of a bush 22 which guides a plunger 5 of an electromagnetic brake and includes: a lighting part 30 having a luminous body 31 which is disposed below the bush 22 and radiates light to an inner peripheral surface of the bush 22; and a digital camera 36 which is disposed above the bush 22 and images the inner peripheral surface radiated by the luminous body 31. The lighting part 30 includes: a support rod 32 supporting the luminous body 31; an adjustment body 32 which is placed on an upper end of a core 2 and adjusts a height position of the support rod 32; and a lens receiver 35 on which a lens of the digital camera 36 is placed, the lens receiver 35 being fixed to an upper end of the support rod 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
